Your Questions, Answered
Not with the right method. Natural stone like Indian sandstone is softer than concrete, so we use lower pressure and a treatment rather than blasting it, which protects the surface.
Black spots are a type of lichen rooted into the stone. Our treatment kills it and the marks fade over the following weeks. Very old spots may lighten rather than disappear completely — we'll be honest about that before we start.
Cleaning washes out loose material from the joints. Putting kiln-dried sand back helps keep slabs firmly in place and makes it harder for weeds to take hold.
As soon as it's dry, usually the same day. We'll let you know if anything needs a little longer to settle.
Usually we'll need access to an outside tap. If you don't have one, tell us when you book and we'll plan around it.
